Throughout my work, I've always been fascinated by new movements and shifts and culture clues for these things pop up everywhere as long as you look out for them and to me, that so many people so fascinating. And here on my first podcast called Changing the System, I'm going to try to deep dive into some of these movements. I mean, how could I know? There's so much going on right now. Eventually, I think that many movements are related. And maybe by zooming into a few, we could find a bigger picture. So what are you going to get? [Thijs Roes] Oh, so only 12.5% of CEOs in the global garment industry are women. Yeah, 80% making the clothes 12.5% running the show. Doesn't that just say it'll? I mean, yeah, literally U s Oh, yeah, of course. When you hit starts like that, it does just make you it kind of puts a fire up you and it makes you go. Well, I don't want to give those men my money anymore. And I want to give those men in suits already had a rough morning. Now I really want to punch something, right, But I smoked crack for journalism. Wait, What? I smoke correct for journalism on. And I had already written the entire story thinking I knew what I was talking about. And then I found this guy who had sort of girl, actually who had crack, and I was like, Just give me a hit. I wanted to see what it is you're going to your local pub here, These two old guys who normally talking about Boulder in the horse race. There's something arguing of a currency unions What you would do that you couldn't see where the pain is gonna look like and you don't get. [Lauren Bravo] I've done my absolute best to approach some of the most interesting people I could find to talk about [Thijs Roes] the change in their fields. Think of experts on fashion, drug policy, nation states, the arts, and I'm working on more as we speak. [Lauren Bravo] Well, if this is something you're into, I hope you stay with me and join the conversation.
